Sweet and Sour Quick-Pickled Cucumbers

Cucumber slices pickled in vinegar and sugar pickling solution.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cucumbers
  • ½ cup Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Water
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Slice the cucumbers into 1/8-inch slices. Place the cucumber slices in a jar or bowl.
  • Add vinegar, sugar, water, and salt to the cucumber slices. Submerge the slices in the pickling solution. Gently stir to dissolve the sugar. Pickle the cucumbers for 10 minutes.
  • Serve the pickles at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

The leftover pickles can be refrigerated up to a month.
