¼cupSoy sauce
5clovesGarlic
1Pear
3TbspScallions
¼cupBrown sugar
1TbspSesame oil
1½TbspGrated ginger
Burger buns
Shredded cabbage or lettuce

Instructions
Blend or finely chop scallions, pear (peeled and cored), and peeled garlic.
In a large mixing bowl, add scallions, pear, garlic, ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and grated ginger. Mix to combine and form patties that are about 5 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches thick.
Cook the patties in skillets over medium-low heat. Cook for 12 minutes on each side, until the patties are cooked through and the sauce has boiled down.
Serve on burger buns with vegetable toppings, such as shredded cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. Alternatively, serve with cooked rice and vegetables on the side.
