  • 1 lb Large raw shrimp peeled, deveined, tail-off (thawed)
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • ½ cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp Parsley flat leaf
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Baguette or other bread for dipping

Instructions

  • If using frozen shrimp, thaw in the fridge overnight or run the shrimp under cold water for 5 minutes.
  • Chop the garlic. Add extra virgin olive oil, chopped garlic, and red pepper flakes into a skillet. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat to infuse the oil with garlic and pepper.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally until the shrimp is cooked through.
  • Chop the parsley and slice the lemons. Garnish the dish with the freshly-prepared parsley and lemons.
  • Slice the baguette or other bread and lay the slices out on a baking sheet. Toast the bread in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes. Serve with Spicy Garlic Shrimp in Olive Oil.
