Easy Grilled Beef Kofta

Ingredients

  • lbs Ground beef
  • 1 Onion medium sized
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Flat leaf parsley
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • tsp Pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 tsp Cumin

Instructions

  • Finely chop peeled onion, garlic, and parsley using a food processor, blender, or a knife.
  • Add the vegetable mixture to a large mixing bowl with ground beef, pumpkin pie spice, cumin, salt, and pepper. Combine all the ingredients and form meatballs that are 3-in x 2-in x 1/2-in.
  • Preheat the grill to 375°F and grill the koftas for 15 minutes, turning them over halfway through the cooking process. Remove the koftas when cooked through to an internal temperature of 170°F°.

Notes

Alternate cooking instructions for:

Stove-top
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the koftas for 20 minutes, turning them over after 15 minutes.
Indoor grill
Heat the grill to 375°F (about medium/high if you don't have a temperature dial). Place the koftas on the grill and cook for 20 minutes, or until cooked through. 
Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange the koftas on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.
