Ingredients

  • 6 Apples Gala or Fuji
  • 2 cups Cranberries
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon powder
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 12 Tbsp Butter
  • cups Flour
  • 1 cup Oats
  • cups Sugar Turbinado or brown
  • 1 cup Almonds Sliced

Instructions

  • Peel and core the apples. Cut into 1-inch cubes. Toss cubed apples, cranberries, cinnamon powder, ½ cup sugar, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cut cold butter into ½ inch cubes. In another mixing bowl, add cubed butter, flour, oats, 1 cup sugar, and almonds. Combine using a pastry cutter, forks, or your hand until crumbles have formed. Sprinkle the crumbles over the cranberry-apple mixture.
  • Put the cranberry apple crumble into a 350 ºF oven and bake for 50–60 minutes until the crumbles are golden brown and the juice is bubbly. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with caramel for extra sweetness.
