Like breaded chicken? Like parmesan cheese? Make this Baked Parmesan-Crusted Chicken! Instead of having a plain breadcrumb coating, these chicken cutlets are coated with delicious Parmesan breadcrumbs with a special salty, cheesy flavor. Just like any good chicken cutlet, this Baked Parmesan-Crusted Chicken is super crispy on the outside and perfectly moist on the inside.
This recipe is extremely simple to make for dinner any day of the week. Although you can pan-fry these parmesan-crusted chicken cutlets, baking them in the oven is my preferred method of cooking. Baking eliminates all the greasy splatter and mess that happens when you pan-fry. Plus, once you put the chicken in the oven, you can forget about it until it’s done; there’s no need to stand over the stove tending to the chicken while it’s cooking. Less stress, and more time to multitask—win, win!
You can use these delicious chicken cutlets in another recipe (such as Chicken Parmigiana), or enjoy them simply with a side salad and crusty bread for an easy, no-frills dinner that everyone will love. Scroll down to see how you can make Baked Parmesan-Crusted Chicken for yourself!

Ingredients

- 2 lbs Thinly sliced chicken breast
- 6 Tbsp Butter, salted
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp Parsley flakes
Instructions
Making the Baked Parmesan-Crusted Chicken is very easy. First, melt the salted butter. Microwave the butter in a bowl for one minute to melt it. Next, prepare the Parmesan breadcrumbs by mixing breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley flakes on a plate.
Dredge the thinly-sliced chicken breasts in the melted butter, then coat it with Parmesan breadcrumbs. Press down the breadcrumbs to ensure the chicken is well-coated. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the chicken in a 400ºF-preheated oven for 30 minutes, turning the chicken cutlets over halfway through the cooking process. Take the Parmesan-crusted chicken out of the oven once the chicken is cooked through and the parmesan crust is golden brown.

Serve with a simple salad and some bread, or use in any recipe that calls for breaded chicken.
